United Stations Adds Danny Ocean As Affiliate Relations Representative
April 17, 2017

United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) has announced the appointment of Danny Ocean as the company’s newest Representative in its Affiliate Relations department.  In his new role, Ocean takes over the management of affiliate acquisition and maintenance in the Northeast Region of the U.S., and he will also specialize in guiding the affiliate marketing efforts for USRN’s many Top 40 and Hot AC programs including Open House Party and The Dave & Jimmy Morning Show. This personnel announcement is effective immediately and it comes from the company’s EVP, Charlie Colombo along with the company’s SVP/Content & Affiliation, Stefan Jones.

Ocean has an impressive 30+ years in radio with a number of high profile positions on his resume as both a Program Director and an on-air personality. Danny’s professional history includes stops at WMC-FM/Memphis, WKCI-FM/New Haven, WJMN/Boston, KZQZ/San Francisco, WIOQ/Philadelphia and WHTZ/New York. He spent the last four ½ years working in Affiliate Relations for the Sheet Happens Prep Service. Ocean is a native of the Philadelphia area and resides there currently with his family, and he can be heard on-air during weekends at WBEB-FM in that market. Ocean is reachable at 610-585-8467 and via email at docean@unitedstations.com.

In making the announcement, Stefan Jones commented that, “Danny brings the best of both worlds to our Affiliate Marketing team. He knows what it’s like to be in a radio station and in the PD’s chair on a daily basis, but he’s also spent the last number of years getting to know our side of the business and expanding his list of contacts in radio. It’s really rare to find someone able to see the whole picture the way he can, and we couldn’t be happier that he’s now part of the United Stations team.” Danny Ocean added, "I’m thrilled and excited to be joining the gold standard of companies as a member of the United Stations team. I would like to personally thank Nick Verbitsky, Charlie Colombo, Jim Higgins, Andy Denmark and Stefan Jones for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity."
