In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Halsey says her upcoming album hopeless fountain kingdom is a bit of a concept album. She says it has a sci-fi theme that connects to themes from her debut Badlands. Halsey says that her star-making turn on The Chainsmokers' hit "Closer" "fine-tuned my sense about my new music." She adds, "It threw me into the deep end. I went from being this underground blog girl to being this mainstream thing." hopeless fountain kingdom arrives June 2.

Snoop Dogg will induct his late friend Tupac Shakur into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month. There are reports of a tribute to Shakur being planned, featuring Snoop and Dr. Dre, but Rolling Stone says details have not been finalized.

This Sunday night, Pitbull will take the stage at WrestleMania 33, joined by Flo Rida, Stephen Marley and LunchMoney Lewis. In a medley performance, Pitbull will perform his newest single "Options" with Marley, before being joined by Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis to play WrestleMania 33ís theme song, "GreenLight." "WrestleMania is the ultimate stage and WWE is a global brand," said Pitbull in a statement. WrestleMania takes place this Sunday, April 2 live from Orlando, starting at 7pm ET.

Speaking to BBC Radio 6, Paul McCartney revealed that he is currently working on a new album with producer Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Tegan & Sara). Sir Paul said, "Iím making a new album which is great fun. Iím in the middle of that. Iím working with a producer I first worked with two years ago on a piece of music Iím doing for an animated film."

French indie rockers Phoenix have announced an extensive North American tour, their first in three years. The band is expected to release a new album later this year. Phoenix begin the tour on May 12 in Miami and wind up in Los Angeles on June 15, with a number of festival appearances along the way. They will then tour Europe and Japan throughout the summer.

Matchbox Twenty and Counting Crows are teaming up for a co-headlining tour this summer and fall. The trek, titled "A Brief History of Everything," begins in Spokane, WA on July 12 and runs up to October 1 in Dallas.
