On Tuesday morning (3/21) Mapleton Communications awoke the Spokane radio market to a brand new Rock station at 94.1 FM. The station is a metro signal paired with 790 KJRB.
      94.1 The Bear came out of hibernation at 7am playing Metallica’s “The Unforgiven” in its quest to play 10,000 songs in a row with no commercials. The air staff will be announced later this year for The Bear.
      Station Manager Greg Tillotson will handle the local programming duties for the station.

Radha Subramanyam, iHeartMedia President, Insights, Research & Data Analytics was named an honoree for the 2017 Cynopsis Top Women in Digital Awards. The awards honor women who excelled in digital content, marketing, advertising, online and social media over the past year. Radha received the award on today at the Yale Club in New York City.  Subramanyam develops and manages an expansive range of data and research efforts involving digital analytics, ratings and measurement, ad sales research, mobile measurement, programming analysis, music research, campaign measurement/attribution and marketing research. She is one of a select group of media and entertainment executives with extensive experience in all media areas: television, digital, radio and social media. Prior to joining iHeartMedia, Subramanyam held senior executive roles at Yahoo! and MTV Networks and was one of the founding leaders of a new analytics and consulting practice at Nielsen.
