iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. Debuts Cherry Blossom Radio

iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. announced today the debut of the new 104.7 Cherry Blossom Radio, effective immediately.

Cherry Blossom Radio will broadcast for the duration of the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., ending April 16th, 2017. The station will be your soundtrack for the Cherry Blossoms and feature festival fun facts, music, calendar of events for the festival and interviews from festival attendees, participants and historians.

Region and Government Initiatives.“104.7 Cherry Blossom Radio will celebrate the history and the incredible memories while becoming the soundtrack to this year’s festival.”

iHeartMedia Washington, D.C.’s radio station brands will also participate in Festival events. 98.7 WMZQ will be on-site for the SAAM Cherry Blossom Celebration on March 25; BIG 100 will be on-site for the Blossom Kite Festival on April 1; WASH-FM will be on-site for the Cherry Blossom Parade on April 8; and HOT 99.5 will be on-site for the Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival on April 15.
