Jack White
In an extensive new interview with The New Yorker, Jack White says he is currently working on new material. The musician says he is quietly making new music in a small Nashville apartment he rented solely to write in semi-isolation. He said, "I want to write like Michael Jackson would write ó instead of writing parts on the instruments or humming melodies, you think of them. To do everything in my head and to do it in silence and use only one room." The New Yorker article also looks at White's many other creative endeavors, most notably Third Man Records and his extensive collection of eclectic items. You can read the full feature here.

George Michael's cause of death has been announced in a statement by Oxfordshire, Englandís senior coroner. The Pop star, who passed away on Christmas, died of natural causes due to heart and liver diseases. Police have closed any investigation into Michael's death.
