Future Makes History on Billboard 200
March 6, 2017

Future
On this week's Billboard 200 chart, Future becomes the first artist to earn back-to-back #1 albums two weeks in a row. His self-titled album arrived at #1 a week ago and the follow-up, HNDRXX is at #1 this week. Not only is HNDRXX at #1 but the previous week's eponymous album is at #2, which Billboard reports is the first time that has happened since last spring, when Prince's Very Best Of collection hit #1 and Purple Rain was at #2, following his death. Additionally, it is Future's fifth #1 album overall (including his collaboration with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive).

Bruno Mars is at #3 with 24K Magic. Country act Little Big Town debut at #4 with The Breaker, their fourth top 10 release.

The Trolls soundtrack jumps to #5, powered by Justin Timberlake's Oscar performance of the hit "Can't Stop the Feeling." Also powered by the Oscars was the Moana soundtrack, which climbs to #8 following the show-stopping performance of "How Far I’ll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Additionally, the La La Land soundtrack moved to #11, following the Best Original Song win for "City of Stars."

Migos hits #6 with Culture, followed by The Weeknd at #7. Big Sean's I Decided is at #9 while the top 10 is rounded out with a debut from Country singer Aaron Watson.
