Katy Perry

Speaking to E! News at the Grammys, Katy Perry discussed her songwriting for her upcoming new album. Perry said, "I think I used to be the queen of innuendo and I woke up a little bit more, educated myself a little bit more, but obviously don’t know all the answers, and maybe I’m a little bit more the queen of subtext. I think it’s a song that starts conversations and I think that’s what we need more than ever. There’s so much divisiveness and people on one side or the other and I think we just need to listen to each other." She added that "There’s going to be all kinds of stuff on there and don’t worry you’re going to have some of that good, old Katy Perry fluffy stuff that you love so much," mentioning one new song called "Bon Appétit." Additionally, Perry has been announced as a performer at the Brit Awards, set for February 22 in London.

Also in an interview at the Grammys, The Chainsmokers revealed more details about their upcoming full-length record. The duo told Entertainment Tonight their first proper album is titled Memories, Do Not Open and will be out on April 7.

On the heels of his three Grammy wins, Chance the Rapper has announced an extensive spring 2017 tour. The trek kicks off in San Diego on April 24 and wraps up with his appearance at the Firefly Festival in Dover, DE on June 17, which is one of multiple festival performances he has scheduled in the coming months. Chance also announced a date in Los Angeles on October 3.
